I want to help support students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. How can I help?
KAHAL needs support from volunteers and lay-leaders on all aspects of its COVID-19 response program.

For many students impacted, these next two months will be a significant disruption to their academic growth. At present, we are focusing our attention on supporting students seeking meaningful vocational training and support. Are you an employer or work at a company or organization which could take on student interns for the next 2-6 months? If so, please register your company and interest here and we will look to connect you with a qualified and industry-relevant student seeking a meaningful internship experience.

KAHAL’s ability to provide tailored, one-on-one consultations for students impacted by the global spread of COVID-19 is critical to helping students feel comforted and supported during this time of crisis. After some training with the KAHAL team, volunteers can sign up to take individual meetings with students and parents and provide guidance on ways to cope with the evolving situation. Please sign up by emailing COVIDinfo@KahalAbroad.org

KAHAL is not built for a rapid-response program of this type, but we are doing all in our power to pivot our focus and support our students and families in need. If you are interested in supporting the students who are still abroad, or in supporting our COVID-19 response program directly, KAHAL is planning a global crowdfunding campaign next week, from March 17-19. Please consider supporting this important campaign (insert link here) —KAHAL must raise $200,000 next week to meet these emerging needs, but we need your help to get there.
