Thank you for your interest in KAHAL! The KAHAL Microgrant Program is currently not taking applications.

In the meantime, we offer any guidance you need on maximizing your time abroad! We have local trips, Jewish connections and more, and many of these have no cost at all. To take advantage of all this, sign up here. Questions or need more information? Just email

Whether you want a few extra dollars to help attend an important Jewish event or you want to bring Passover to your host country, we are here to help with grants toward a Jewish experience abroad ranging from $10-$250. KAHAL is proud to give out more than $30,000 in experiential grants each year. KAHAL’s program grants are sponsored by members of the Jewish community, including UJA: The Jewish Federation of New York. The Jewish community is committed to making your experience abroad the best it can be, and we trust you’ll do the same for future students someday, too.
